Subject	Need alternator removal help

Message	I followed the alternator removal writeup by Doug and was able to remove all the adjustment bracket bolts and the main pivot bolt. At this point the alternator is supposed to come down so I can get to the wires on the back. However, it seems to just rotate about pivot point and will not move forward or down. I don't want to yank to much and brake something. Anyone know what could be going on? Based on my searches there was one other guy with the same problem but didn't see a solution.
